Standard report today states amongst other things:
"They [WHUFC] were waiting to hear from FIFA today but will tell them they kept the Senegalese FA informed at all times and that they invited their medical staff to assess the player — an invitation which was not accepted."
So it does indeed look like they didn't actually send a doctor over anyway. Perhaps the doc was too busy injuring the back of another of their players.

He missed four bloody matches for us! It's not as if we pulled a fast one and got him back for the next match.

Oh and according to the section on disputes over call up, FIFA can get involved on the condition that;
The local association the player has registered at has been asked to intervene with no success
FIFA has been notified at least 5 days before the match they want him to play in.
So any dispute over call up should have been lodged much earlier, not after they accepted it, selected someone else and have played.

Having looked through the FIFA rules amended in 2014 around this topic I do not see any rule stating you cannot play for your club if you were unable to accept the call up due to injury.
The actual rule I read says that if you don't want to play or are witheld by a club for any other reason other than injury then you cannot play for your club for the duration of the international window/sanctioned FIFA tournament and for 5 days after it.
This is providing you have not previously notified the association in writing of your desire to not be considered and the reasons e.g. retirement.
As he reported injured, the Senegal association was entitled to perform a medical assessment at West Hams facilities only. Its not clear if they did or didn't but the club did provide an independent assessment and there is video evidence of him pulling up in a prior game holding his back and needing to be subbed.
There is no mention of bans or fines in the rules. In the event the player is seen to have been witheld then FIFA can suggest to the local association that that games they play in for the duration are forfeit. As the reason he didn't go was clearly injury and evidence was provided as per the rules, I don't see any grounds for that to happen.
Thats my assessment as a busy cunt

Other quotes from West Ham made it sound like that Senegal didn't actually send Doctors over, just that they were invited to do so.
Based on the comments of the Senegal manager it makes it sound we just told them and they took what we said to be true.

Sakho hasn't played for at least 2 months following international duty. They (Senegal) fucked him up in the first place so they knew the extent of the injury and that's why they didn't pick him for the final squad. They have absolutely no grounds to complain or sue.
After what happened to Dean Ashton, the FA and that little cunt Wright Phillips, I would simply ban our players from ever playing internationals. It's like letting your child be baby sitted by a mental patient on a MOD firing range or giving an expensive Renaissance Raphael painting to a local council, and they tour it around the local youth clubs and prisons, and it comes back slashed and completely fucked.
Arrogant International Football Associations have no respect for the care or value of the players they call up.
So in future ...
"Signing Terms of condition - club or country? Club ... come in my son and make yourself at home."

says here that he was examined by enegal medicals so they cant really have a leg to stand on can they
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce expects Sakho will be out of action for several weeks with the injury. He said: "Sakho’s got a damaged back, he’s got a pinched spine. Senegal have sent a medical team over and looked at the MRI scans with us and he will be out for a few weeks, I think."

"The FIFA rules state that if you pull out of a tournament with an injury you are not allowed to play for your club during the length of the tournament."
He wasn't called up for the tournament, was he? Had he been called up to the ACON squad then pulled out, then they might have had a point.

If Hammerforever is correct then they will have to punish us. Maximum punishment would be Sahko banned and we are forced to replay tie.
WE would fucking smash Bristol City in a replay so there is no point worrying. what will be will be.

Re: SENEGAL OUT of ACON

the club went out of their way to have Sakho assessed by an independant medical team. they said he couldnt fly for 6wks. Senegal agreed with the assesment.
far as i'm aware he didnt fly to Bristol - he was larging it in a limo.

Was Sakho withdrawn from the squad due to injury or not named in it in the first place due to injury. Semantics yes but appears to be of importance if Hammerforever is right....
